About Our Coordinator
The Coordinator of our bloodless medicine program serves to ensure that you receive the highest quality medical care possible. Our coordinator is trained and experienced as a facilitator in all aspects of bloodless medicine. Our Coordinator will be closely involved with you as a patient to ensure that your needs are met, while respecting your individual decisions regarding specific medical procedures.
All bloodless medicine patients will receive counsel and information regarding the consequences of refusing blood and blood products. After making your wishes known during admittance to the hospital, you will be required to authorize bloodless care in writing. Our entire healthcare team accepts and respects the wishes of bloodless medicine patients, and will provide care and services accordingly.
